Rave reviews for the US remake of “The Kindergarten Teacher”.
The US remake of Nadav Lapid's award winning feature, "The Kindergarten Teacher", that was developed at the Sam Spiegel International Film Lab, was successful premiered at Sundance 2018, where director Sara Colangelo won the US Drama Directing Award.
The faithful remake tells the story of Lisa Spinelli, a Staten Island teacher who is unusually devoted to her students. When she discovers one of her five-year-olds is a prodigy, she becomes fascinated with the boy, ultimately risking her family and freedom to nurture his talent. Based on the acclaimed Israeli film that was developed in the Sam Spiegel International Film Lab.
