Ewa Puszczynska

Born and raised in Lodz, Ewa Puszczyñska started her professional life working for one of the most famous Polish puppet theatres, Arlekin, as a literature researcher, playwrite editor and advisor. Since 1995 she has been working for Opus Film, a prominent independent film production company in Poland, and for the past 15 years has managed project development and execution. 

 

She produced David Lynch’s photo sessions in Poland and acted as line producer on the Polish portion of Inland Empire. Her recent credits include: Oscar winning Ida by Pawel Pawlikowski, The Cut by Fatih Akin (Venice 2014), The Congress by Ari Folman (Cannes 2013), Aglaja by Krisztina Deak (Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival) and King of Devil’s Island by Marius Holst. She is a production teacher at The Lodz Film School and at the Andrzej Wajda Film School in Warsaw, MAIA and SOFA workshops and a member of PFA. She also serves as an EFA board member .
