Asaf Asulin


Asaf was born in Israel in 1984. He graduated The Jerusalem Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in 2010.


The short films Asaf had directed throughout his studies, Sea Hedgehog (2008) and Partying Apart (2010), were screened in several occasions in Israel and abroad. For his short film Black China Elephant (2006) he received an award from the America Israel Cultural Foundation.


During the period of his studies, Asaf had begun directing music videos for Israeli musicians.

In 2010 Asaf published his first poetry book “What was lost ahead”. The book was highly acclaimed and wan a broad distribution in the country.

Desert’s End will be Asaf's first feature film.
