Jow Zhi Wei


Jow Zhi Wei was born in Singapore, and graduated from the Puttnam School of Film, Lasalle College of the Arts, before participating in the Golden Horse Film Academy in Taiwan, under the mentorship of Hou Hsiao-hsien. He then entered Le Fresnoy in France. He was a short film programmer for the 25th Singapore International Film Festival 2014 and awarded the Young Artist Award in 2014 by the government of Singapore.


Outing, his first short film was selected at the 58th San Sebastian International Film Festival 2010, while Waiting, his graduation film at Lasalle was selected for the 15th Busan International Film Festival 2010. After the Winter premiered at the 66th Cannes Film Festival, Cinéfondation Selection 2013.

Tomorrow is a Long Time will be his first feature film.
