Ricky Rijneke

 

Ricky Rijneke graduated of HKU University of the Arts as Master of Arts in European Media with honors.

Ricky’s award winning first short Wing, the fish that talked back premiered in 2007 Official Competition of the 60th Locarno International Film Festival. It gained international acclaim at more than fifty international film festivals.

 

Ricky's first feature film Silent Ones premiered in Competition of the 42th International Film Festival Rotterdam and competed in many major international film festivals, winning eleven awards out of fifteen nominations.

The Hunter's Son will be Ricky's second feature film.
