Project: Anatolian Leopard

Previous achievements:

"THE TRANSLATOR" (Short) Nominated, European Film Awards, 2015; Best Short, Istanbul Short Film Festival, 2015. Talent Sarajevo residency, 2016; Cultural residency, Berlin-Antalya Film Forum, 2016.



Born in 1984 in Ankara, Emre has been committed to storytelling as well as visual arts since his childhood


After a BA in Law and a year long experience as a legal intern, he decided to quit and started to work within the film industry in various production roles.

Following that he moved to London. In 2012, he entered to MA Filmmaking department at the London Film School. After directing two narrative short films, practiced photography and worked in various projects, he graduated in 2014 with his final project ‘The Translator’ which was screened more than 40 festivals worlwide including Sarajevo, Montreal, Premier Plans, won 6 prizes and nominated for the best short film for the 28th European Film Awards.

Anatolian Leopard will be Emre's first feature film.
