Tsivia Barkai


Tsivia Barkai, born in 1979, was raised in the Orthodox Jewish settlement of Beit-El.


In 2005, she completed her studies with honors from the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School, Jerusalem.


Her graduation film, Vika, was screened at a large number of film festivals, including the Berlin Film Festival and the Jerusalem Film Festival and won several international awards.


In 2006, Tsivia took part in the Berlinale Talent Campus.


Red Heifer will be her first feature film.
