After gathering experience as a producer, Isabelle Fauvel created Initiative Film in 1993 : the first company dedicated to script consultancy and to the creative development process.
Since then, she is the privileged partner of writers, directors and producers for all matters on projects and talents development around the following activities: talent scouting, book scouting in literature, scriptwriting consultancy, story editing and insightful advising during the whole project gestation period.
As such, Isabelle and Initiative Film collaborate with many international festivals and events including MFI (Mediterranean Film Institute), ACE Producers and a large number of Euromed programmes, as well as TorinoFilmLab as a tutor for ScriptLab.
Initiative Film is also very involved on the field of literary adaptation, and her will is to contribute to the circulation of ideas and talents and to enrich the field of film development.
Isabelle has been scouting for the Jerusalem International Film Lab since its creation in 2012.

Hakim Mao comes from a technical background : a degree in editing and postproduction and studies at the Louis Lumière National Film School in Paris for photography, writing and directing.
After working as an assistant director as an assistant director, he discovered development through writing workshops before starting to work at Initiative Film as a story editor and development consultant.
Since 2017, Hakim is a partner in the company where he alternates between story editing, developing and taking part in international training programs (Valletta Film Lab, Cannes Short Film Corner, Jump In, Institut Français… ) as well as book and talent scouting.

In 2012, after more than 20 years in distribution, Dominique Welinski founded DW, a production and consulting company. Since then, she curates and produces the Factory program at Director’s Fortnight in Cannes. She has produced or co-produced among others: Sanjeewa Pushpakumara Burning Birds; Alireza Khatami’s Oblivion Verses; Midi Z Road to Mandalay; John Tengrove The Wound; Suba Sivakumaran House of My Fathers and Yona Rozenkier The Dive and The Road to Eilat. DW is currently developing films in Sri Lanka, Israel, India and Greece.
